| Soular Energy is a poetic treasure of resonance to any individual interested in snapshots of Life, Mother Nature, Love lost and found, and the profound grief of losing the most precious person in your life who has passed long before her time. Soular Energy is dedicated to Doc Shay’s precious granddaughter, Ileiana, who in October 2005 died at age 11 after a four year battle with cancer. The poems speak to all who will open their hearts to hear the experiences, the lessons and the gifts that life brings. Sooner or later, we all will have the loss of a loved one that brings incredible grief. Other poems speak to celebrating life and all there is if we just reach out for it. We all have loved and will have experienced a broken heart… but life goes on and it is each one’s choice to love again. ALL proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Camp Anuenue, a summer camp in Hawaii for children with cancer. |
